As for Imaam Maalik bin Anas, he said:

“Truly I am only a mortal: I make mistakes (sometimes) and I am correct (sometimes). Therefore, look into my opinions: all that agree with the book and the Sunnah, accept it; and all that does not agree with the Book and the Sunnah, ignore it.” (1)

A Branch of Faith

Narrated by Abu Huraira radiallaahu ‘anhu,
The Prophet ‘alayhi salaatu wasallaam said, “Faith consists of more than sixty branches. And Haya (self respect, modesty, bashfulness, etc.) is a part of faith.”

Short Biography of Al-Imaam Muhammad bin Ismaa’eel Al-Bukhaari

It has been unanimously agreed that Imam Bukhaari’s work is the most authentic of all the other works in Hadeeth literature put together. The authenticity of Al-Bukhaari’s work is such that the religious learned scholars of Islaam said concerning him: “The most authentic book after the book Allah (i.e. the Qur’an) is Sahih Al-Bukhaari”

Imaam Bukhaari was born on the 13th Shawwaal in the year 194 A.H. in Bukhaara in the territory of Khurasaan (West Turkistan). His real name is Muhammad bin Ismaa’eel bin Al-Mugheerah Al-Bukhaari.
